Healthy Eating Costs Too Much?

Think healthy eating cost too much? Think again. Consider the following suggestions for trimming your diet and your budget . . .

  • Make water your main drink.
  • Pack a lunch instead of getting take-out every day.
  • Buy fresh fruits and vegetables in season.
  • Snack on home-made popcorn instead of potato chips.
  • Eat beans or tofu in place of meat, two or three times each week.

Be careful of coupons - especially for food you wouldn't normally buy. Just because it's on sale doesn't mean you're saving money.
